Desean Taber, a native of Salisbury, CT, began his full-time ballet training at age 12 and started attending the Miami City Ballet School at age 15. 
Taber has performed in works by choreographers including George Balanchine, August Bournonville, John Cranko, William Forsythe, Wayne McGregor, John Neumeier, and Justin Peck.
He has danced leading roles in ballets like Balanchine’s Agon, Arabian and a Spanish Dancer in Mikko Nissisen’s The Nutcracker, and the Duke of Courland in Giselle. He performed in the premiere of Forsythe’s Playlist EP in Paris and assisted the choreographer in reworking parts of his Artifact in 2017.
Taber is now studying Business Administration and Management at Columbia University.
