California native Vince Collins danced with the Dance Theatre of Harlem for 20 years.
Collins appeared in the original DTH casts of Alvin Ailey’s The River (1993), Vincent Sekwati Mantsoe’s Sasanka (1997), and Louis Johnson’s Soul on Pointe (1998). He was featured in DTH’s filmed production Fall River Legend in 1989.
Along with his fellow Troy Game dancers, Collins was described as being “delightful” by The Washington Post in March 1992.

Collins has instructed ballet at New Orleans Ballet Association, the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater (now known as Contemporary West Dance Theatre), and Ballethnic.

Collins transitioned to a career in public health and is now the director of operations and community wellness at the LGBTQ+ Community Center of Southern Nevada.
