California native Vince Collins danced with the Dance Theatre of Harlem for 20 years.
\nCollins appeared in the original DTH casts of Alvin Ailey\u2019s The River<\/em> (1993), Vincent Sekwati Mantsoe\u2019s Sasanka<\/em> (1997), and Louis Johnson<\/a>\u2019s Soul on Pointe<\/em> (1998). He was featured in DTH\u2019s filmed production Fall River Legend<\/em> in 1989.
\nAlong with his fellow Troy Game<\/em> dancers, Collins was described as being \u201cdelightful\u201d by The Washington Post<\/em> in March 1992.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Collins has instructed ballet at New Orleans Ballet Association, the Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater (now known as Contemporary West Dance Theatre), and Ballethnic.<\/div>\n
\n

Collins transitioned to a career in public health and is now the director of operations and community wellness at the LGBTQ+ Community Center of Southern Nevada.<\/p>\n
