As a member of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, Yvonne Hall was a part of the original DTH casts of William Scott<\/a>\u2019s Every Now and Then <\/em>(1975), Royston Maldoom\u2019s Doina<\/em> (1978), His Love Is Everlasting<\/em> (1978), Choo San Goh\u2019s Introducing\u2026<\/em> (1978), George Balanchine\u2019s The Four Temperaments<\/em> (1979), Billy Wilson<\/a>\u2019s Mirage (The Games People Play)<\/em> (1979), Marius Petipa\u2019s Paquita<\/em> (1980) and Pas de Dix<\/em> from Raymonda<\/em> (1983), Ruth Page and Bentley Stone\u2019s Frankie and Johnny <\/em>(1981), David Lichine\u2019s Graduation Ballet<\/em> (1983), Loyce Houlton\u2019s Wingborne<\/em> (1983), Glen Tetley\u2019s Voluntaries<\/em> (1984) and Dialogues<\/em> (1991), and Arthur Mitchell<\/a>\u2019s John Henry<\/em> (1988).<\/div>\n
She appeared alongside the rest of the company in a 1977 televised production for PBS\u2019s Great Performances: Dance in America: Dance Theatre of Harlem<\/em>. Hall additionally toured extensively with the company, performing in theaters like the London Coliseum and the Manchester Opera House.<\/div>\n

The New York Times<\/em>\u2019 Jack Anderson called Hall, along with her partner Donald Williams<\/a> in George Balanchine\u2019s The Four Temperaments<\/em>, \u201ccoolly lyrical.\u201d New York Magazine<\/em> praised the \u201cdignity and musicality\u201d of one of Hall\u2019s performances in 1983.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
