Doris de Mendez was a member of the New York Negro Ballet. She appeared as a dancer in the 1961 Broadway show Kwamina<\/em>, in the off-Broadway show Billy Noname<\/em> (1970), Our Play On The Future Has No Name<\/em> (1970), and in the ensemble of Sing Out, Sweet Land!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
