Coleman Hill was a member of the American Negro Ballet. Hill, along with the rest of the company, performed in the company\u2019s debut in 1937<\/a> and with the New York Negro Symphony Orchestra in 1939. His fellow company members included Lavinia Williams<\/a>, <\/span>Alfred Bledger<\/a>, and <\/span>Edith Ross<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hill appeared as a member of Van Grona\u2019s Swing Ballet in Lew Leslie\u2019s Blackbirds of 1939<\/em>, which opened February 11, 1939.<\/p>\n
