Brooks has a wide range of professional experience including 18 years as a principal dancer at the Dance Theatre of Harlem, New York City (DTH). Brooks has been featured in a number of acclaimed performances including Alvin Ailey\u2019s <em>The River<\/em>, Eugene Loring\u2019s <em>Billy the Kid<\/em>, Jerome Robbins\u2019 <em>Fancy Free<\/em>, Michael Smuin\u2019s <em>A Song for Dead Warriors<\/em>, <em>Medea<\/em>, and John Butler\u2019s <em>Othello<\/em>. Brooks has performed internationally in Austria, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Israel, Japan, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Venezuela, South Africa, and Russia.
