Eventually, Jones asked Lee to revive the company and become its new artistic director. He accepted and gathered 15 dancers in two months. Some of these dancers included Charles Adams, Hinton Battle<\/a>, and Sandra Fortune\u2013Green<\/a>.<\/p>\n He performed at the Lisner Auditorium with the company in November 1979. One review by the Washington Post said that \u201cThe company looked best in the two ballets by its assistant artistic director, Keith Lee. \u2018Times Past,\u2019 to music of Cole Porter, is a phantasmagoria of the kinds of people one might have met on the street 40 years or so ago. The choreography is funky-vulgar, and the company obviously enjoyed itself tremendously. Everyone was good. Guest David McNaughton (from the San Francisco Ballet) was a naughtly shoeshine boy, Charles Adams an oily \u2018man on the Make.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Adams also performed at Howard University in November 1973 in \u201cTaps for Old Times,\u201d \u201cHinty,\u201d \u201cThree Black Cries,\u201d and \u201cAsha I.\u201d In another performance in Washington D.C., \u201cPiloting Capitol Ballet Clipper, Flight #4 8 74 \u2018Around the World,\u2019\u201d performed in 1974, Adams performed as a \u201cnative\u201d in the performances \u201cDuvalier Airport, Port-au-Prince, Haiti,\u201d \u201cMontego Bay Airport, Jamaica,\u201d and \u201cLeonardo da Vinci Airport, Rome, Italy.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Sources:<\/strong> Adams created a work called \u201cCommon Law,\u201d which Carol Childs and L.D.
