Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Cramton Auditorium, Howard University.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">The repertoire included:\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"2\">The premiere of <i>Four Negro Spirituals<\/i>, choreographed by Doris Jones. (The four songs were &#8220;You Better Mind,&#8221; &#8220;Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,&#8221; &#8220;Walk Together Children,&#8221; and &#8220;It&#8217;s Me, It&#8217;s Me, It&#8217;s Me, Oh Lord.&#8221;)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\"><i>Collaboration <\/i>by <b>Patricia Sorrell<\/b> and <a href=\"https:\/\/mobballet.org\/index.php\/2017\/12\/27\/llanchie-stevenson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Llanchie Stevenson<\/b><\/a> of the National Ballet of Washington with <b>Robert Davis<\/b>. The work was a collaboration between the three dancers and the companies&#8217; directors.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"2\"><i>Pocahontas <\/i>was also remounted with help from a grant from the Regina and Milton Heymann Foundation. <a href=\"https:\/\/mobballet.org\/index.php\/2020\/08\/24\/bernard-stanley\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Bernard Stanley<\/b><\/a> danced the role of the Medicine Man.
