As a member of the Capitol Ballet, Rodney Green performed in Doris Jones\u2019 Black Pilgrims<\/em> and Hinton Battle\u2019s Hinty<\/em> on November 20, 1977.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Green also performed extensively as a guest artist with regional companies. With the Tri-State Ballet Company, he appeared in Dreams of a Midsummer\u2019s Night <\/em>(June 1972); with Pottsville Area Ballet Company in Swan Lake<\/em> (May 12, 1973), The Nutcracker <\/em>(December 1979), and Don Quixote<\/em> Pas de Deux (April 1976); and with Philadelphia Civic Ballet in Odyssey 3 <\/em>(March 1, 1972).<\/div>\n
Also a choreographer, Green was awarded the Young Choreographer\u2019s Award of Washington for his Ebony Concerto<\/em> and created Le Deux<\/em> for the Pottsville Area Ballet Company in 1974.<\/div>\n

Green appeared in The Wiz<\/em> on Broadway as an Emerald City Citizen and Kalidah. In 1978, he served as a Swing Dancer in Timbuktu!<\/em> also on Broadway.<\/p>\n
