Pacific Northwest Ballet: Corps de Ballet (2022-present)<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Audrey Malek (she\/her) is from Gilmanton, New Hampshire. She trained at Washington School of Ballet on full scholarship and attended summer courses at Dance Theater of Harlem, Ellison Ballet, ABT, and Washington School of Ballet. Audrey was a member of Washington Ballet Studio Company before joining Pacific Northwest Ballet as a corps de ballet member in 2022.<\/p>\n

While at Washington Ballet, she danced leading and original roles in Julie Kent and Victor Barbee\u2019s Giselle (Myrtha); Jessica Lang\u2019s Beethoven Serenade; and Mthuthuzeli November\u2019s Where Do We Go Now. Audrey has also danced leading roles in George Balanchine\u2019s A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream (Helena) and The Nutcracker (Coffee and Hot Chocolate); and ensemble roles in Jessica Lang\u2019s Let Me Mingle Tears With Thee; George Balanchine\u2019s Allegro Brillante; Kent Stowell\u2019s Carmina Burana; Crystal Pite\u2019s The Seasons Canon; Dwight Rhoden\u2019s Catching Feelings*; George Balanchine\u2019s A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream; and Giselle.<\/p>\n

Audrey was featured in an interview on gender roles in ballet in The New York Times in 2021 and in Pointe Magazine the same year.<\/p>\n
