Edward Moore was one of the founding members of Dance Theatre of Harlem. He performed with the company in their first performance at Jacob\u2019s Pillow<\/a> as well as touring through the US and in Bermuda and Curacao. His repertoire with the company included Arthur Mitchell<\/a>‘s Holberg Suite<\/em>, Rhymetron<\/em>, and Spiritual Suite<\/em> and Louis Johnson<\/a>‘s Forces of Rhythm<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In 1971 The New York Times<\/em> writer Clive Barnes described Moore as a “tough and vigorous male [dancer].”<\/p>\n

After his dance career, he was reported to be “driving a truck in Ohio.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
