\"\"<\/a>Clara Ruf Maldonado is from New York, New York. She studied on scholarship at the School of American Ballet, where she was a 2015 Mae L. Wien Award recipient, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. She attended summer courses at Ballet Academy East, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chautauqua Institution, Houston Ballet Academy, Miami City Ballet School, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Ms. Ruf Maldonado was an apprentice with New York City Ballet before joining Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 2018. She was promoted to corps de ballet later that year. Ruf Maldonado has performed the Sugar Plum Fairy, Columbine, and Marzipan in <\/span>George Balanchine\u2019s The Nutcracker<\/span><\/i>; Spring and Columbine in Kent Stowell\u2019s <\/span>Cinderella<\/span><\/i>; and the Fairy of Joy and Red Riding Hood in Ronald Hynd\u2019s <\/span>The Sleeping Beauty<\/span><\/i>. Her other lead roles with the company include those in Balanchine\u2019s <\/span>Agon<\/span><\/i>; Donald Byrd\u2019s <\/span>Love and Loss<\/span><\/i>; Kyle Davis\u2019 <\/span>A Dark and Lonely Space<\/span><\/i>; William Forsythe\u2019s <\/span>One Flat Thing, reproduced<\/span><\/i>; and Price Suddarth\u2019s <\/span>Signature<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
