Michaelyn Jackson studied at the the Jones-Haywood School and the School of American Ballet and was a member of New York Negro Ballet<\/a>, though she did not follow the company on their UK tour. She attended SAB\u2019s summer program alongside fellow dancer Louis Johnson<\/a>. She later danced in his company in a 1958 performance at the 92nd Street Y.<\/p>\n
