James Applewhite

James Applewhite was born in Sacramento, California. He trained at America’s Ballet School and the Howard W. Blake High School for the Performing Arts in Tampa, Florida and continued his ballet training at American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York City. He was a member of American Ballet Theatre II, became an apprentice with The National Ballet of Canada in 2010, joined the main company in 2012, and subsequently danced with Orlando Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem.
