Torri Counts was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas and studied at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and the Columbia City Ballet Conservatory. While living in Los Angeles, Counts auditioned for Columbia City Ballet and joined the company at age 26.

Counts’ repertoire with the company included Cleopatra, Don Quixote, Dracula, and Off the Wall and Onto the Stage: Dancing the Art of Jonathan Green.

After leaving CCB in 2009, Counts performed on tour with Mariah Carey.

Now living in Costa Mesa, California with his wife, Counts works as a personal trainer for his own training company, TC-FIT.
