Las Vegas native Andrés Trezevant was inspired by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s performance of Revelations to begin dancing. He trained at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts and performed with the Nevada Youth Dancer’s Company.
He acquired additional training from intensives at Chuthis. Moves, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Movement Invention Project 2, Netherlands Dans Theater, the Rambert Intensive, and Springboard Dans Montreal. Trezevant also studied at Hubbard Street’s professional program, starting in 2017.
The next year, he became a member of Charlotte Ballet II and joined the main company in 2020. Throughout his performance career, Trezevant has performed works by Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux, Peter Chu, Mark Diamond, Ohad Naharin, and Christian Spuck.
