Nikita Jew

Nikita Jew started dancing at Berkeley City Ballet at age eight. She attended summer intensives at Dance Theatre of Harlem and Marin Ballet Theater, both on scholarship.

After graduating high school, Jew joined Dance Theatre of Harlem in 2002, where she remained until 2007. She performed with Urban Jazz Dance Company in San Francisco, California from 2009 to 2010.

While dancing, Jew discovered Pilates, which helped her body recover from both a stress fracture injury and pregnancy. She received her certifications in Pilates through Mindbody Connections and Body Arts and Science International.

Since her performing career, Jew has worked as a certified pilates instructor, customer service representative, ballet teacher, and choreographer. She started Nikita Pilates in 2010.
