Ebony Haswell began her professional career at Dance Theatre of Harlem upon graduation from New World School of the Arts. She has performed principal roles in Balanchine’s Agon, Apollo, and Who Cares; Alvin Ailey’s The River and Revelations; Ulysses Dove’s Vespers; Unfold by Robert Battle; and Road of the Phoebe Snow by Talley Beatty. She has been a member of Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and most recently, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She is an instructor at Debbie Allen Dance Academy.
