Rubinald Rofino Pronk was born in The Hague, Netherlands. He trained at the Royal Conservatory of Dance, later joining the Dutch National Ballet in 1998 when he was 16. While with the Dutch National Ballet, he was a soloist. He has additionally performed with the Norwegian National Ballet, LINES Ballet, Teatro Massim, Polish National Ballet, and Morphoses/Wheeldon Company. Pronk was with the Dutch National Ballet for eight years before he left and joined the Complexions Contemporary Ballet. In 2012, Pronk began his own dance company called “Pronk.”
