This level serves organizations that are just entering the work of IDEA. Apprentice Members will be supported in building a solid foundation of learning of I.D.E.A. & CC. that is specific to the field of ballet.

This tier provides cohort learning:

Cohort Meetings:

Monthly cohort meetings (Admin and Artistic) debrief Curriculum of Change Modules. Engaging with the material members are encouraged to bring questions, comments and concerns to the cohorts to the facilitated learning space.

Tools for independent Learning:

Curriculum of Change video and written materials were developed and curated by MoBBallet’s team of experts specifically for the Coalition and its needs. All Curriculum of Change modules will be available in the MoBBallet Digital Learning Hub, where members can study at their leisure and will be the roadmap to our cohort learning.

Assessment tools:

C2EC has developed several organizational assessment tools to help both members and the Coalition identify areas of need and to chart progress. Our Landscape Assessment will provide data regarding your full organization, Artists Assessment will focus on the dancers’ company experience and culture, End of Year Report will allow members and the Coalition track progress and determine what was successful and what needs to be reworked.

Breakout Sessions:

In addition to regular monthly Cohort meetings, members will have an opportunity to request breakout sessions on specific topics.

Peer to Peer Mentorship:

In the spirit of The Village, “each one teach one”, and in support of the pillars of  Transparency and Accountability, C2EC promotes the pairing of App members with an mentors from within our C2EC membership for title/departmenet specific mentorship (when possible and appropriate).  This will support each organization’s  growth and development by requiring the mentor to model the ways of being for their mentee while helping them traverse the path to cultural competence and equity.

MoBBallet Network:

Access and the opportunity to participate and collaborate in MoBBallet programming designed to provide opportunities for Black and Brown dancers, educators, choreographers, administrators etc. This is a vital component to learning how to create culturally competent and sensitive relationships within these communities. MoBBallet will be available to support our members endeavors as long as the organization is in good standing with their practices.
