Kaila Carter

Ballethnic Dance Company

Kaila Carter is a member of Ballethnic Dance Company. Originally from Bowie, Maryland, Carter began dancing at a young age before attending Duke Ellington School of the Arts as a dance major. She spent summers training at The Ailey School, Dance Theater of Harlem, and Garth Fagan Dance. She graduated in May of 2019 with a B.S. in Dance/Arts Administration from Butler University where she performed in full-length ballets such as the Nutcracker and Swan Lake, as well as contemporary works including Catching Shadows by Cynthia Pratt.
