Micah Bullard trained at The Dance Center of Baytown, Texas before attending The University of Oklahoma (OU) School of Dance, where he received his bachelor’s degree in Ballet Performance in May 2019.

He performed with OU’s ballet ensemble, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, as Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, and with their modern ensemble, Contemporary Dance Oklahoma, in works by Merce Cunningham, Austin Hartel, and Roxanne Lyst. Bullard’s repertoire also features works by Alejandro Cerrudo, Trey McIntyre, Amy Hall Garner, Nilas Martins, Mary Margaret Holt, and Michael Bearden.

Bullard was invited to join the Oklahoma City Ballet Studio Company for the 2018/19 season, the first year of the joint trainee partnership between OKC Ballet and OU. In addition to continuing his class and rehearsal schedule at OU, he also attended classes and rehearsals with OKC Ballet and performed with the company in Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker. Following his attendance at the Oklahoma City Ballet 2019 Summer Intensive, Bullard was offered an apprentice position for the 2019/20 and 2020/21 season.
