Originally from Kennesaw, Georgia, Josiah Savage was born ca. 1996 and started dancing at age six.
On full scholarship, Savage has trained at Chautauqua School of Fine and Performing Arts, in New Haven Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program, and as a trainee with Georgia Ballet. His additional training came from the School of the Hamburg Ballet (Hamburg, Germany), Charlotte Ballet, and Greenville Ballet.
As a professional dancer, he has danced with Georgia Ballet (performing roles like Colas in La Fille Mal Gardee and the Cavalier in The Nutcracker), Charlotte Ballet, and as a guest with Springfield Ballet in 2016.
Savage also works as a private technique coach, choreographer, and teacher of ballet and fusion dance.
