As a member of the Capitol Ballet, Rodney Green performed in Doris Jones’ Black Pilgrims and Hinton Battle’s Hinty on November 20, 1977.

Green also performed extensively as a guest artist with regional companies. With the Tri-State Ballet Company, he appeared in Dreams of a Midsummer’s Night (June 1972); with Pottsville Area Ballet Company in Swan Lake (May 12, 1973), The Nutcracker (December 1979), and Don Quixote Pas de Deux (April 1976); and with Philadelphia Civic Ballet in Odyssey 3 (March 1, 1972).
Also a choreographer, Green was awarded the Young Choreographer’s Award of Washington for his Ebony Concerto and created Le Deux for the Pottsville Area Ballet Company in 1974.

Green appeared in The Wiz on Broadway as an Emerald City Citizen and Kalidah. In 1978, he served as a Swing Dancer in Timbuktu! also on Broadway.
