Billy Wilson performed Bells are Ringing after his big debut performance in Carmen Jones. Bells are Ringing was a Broadway musical which opened at the Sam S. Shubert Theatre on November 29, 1956. Billy was the only black dancer in the entire cast. This was the beginnings of Billy Wilson’s career on Broadway
