Ballet Memphis

Daniel Russell Cooke, from Las Vegas, studied at the San Francisco Ballet School on full scholarship. While at San Francisco Ballet School, he performed in a variety of San Francisco Ballet productions including Romeo and Juliet, Onegin, and The Nutcracker. He has received additional training at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts; Pacific Northwest Ballet School; Alonzo King LINES Ballet; Las Vegas Academy for Visual and Performing Arts; and Kravenko Dance Academy (Las Vegas). In his first season with Ballet Memphis, Cooke danced in a variety of works including Steven McMahon’s Confluence, Shapiro & Smith’s George and Betty’s House, Julia Adam’s Crossing, and Petr Zahradnicek’s Night and Day in FedEx City.
