13 year old Salome Tregre began studying at Cincinnati Ballet since she was 10 years old. Christmas came early this year when the cast list went up and she learned that she had won the coveted role of Clara. Though in the pass there have been 2 Asian student to play the role there has never before been an African American. She was very prepared to take on the role as last year she was an understudy.
