Tumelo Lekana

Joburg Ballet: Senior Corps de Ballet

Tumelo Lekana is a South African dancer who joined Joburg Ballet in February 2017 as an aspirant. Just three years later, Lekana is now a senior corps de ballet member. His repertoire with the company includes the role of Creado in Don Quixote, among others. In a 2020 review of Don Quixote, Lekana was said to be a “joy to watch.”
