Capitol Ballet

Sherri Anderson performed with the Capitol Ballet on November 20, 1977 at the Lisner Auditorium in Doris W. Jones’ Rhapsody in Blue. In 1974, she performed in Piloting Capitol Ballet Clipper, Flight #4874 ‘Around the World’ in “Redskin Fans and Admirers” (in “XIV. Dulles Airport, Washington, DC”). Little else is known about Anderson.

Note: It is not definite that Sherri Anderson was Black as we have no photographic or written evidence, but based on her status as a member of a historically Black company, she has been included in MoBBallet’s Roll Call.
