Canadian dancer Kendra Moore trained at the Edmonton School of Ballet in Alberta and has danced professionally with Ballet Austin, Les Ballets Jazz de Montreal, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. While working for the latter, Moore and fellow dancers auditioned for the touring group of the Broadway production The Lion King. She was cast as a member of the ensemble and later took on the role of dance captain for the production. According to a Dance Magazine article, Moore was “responsible for knowing each part of the 52-member cast.” After performing in the show for 14 years, she is now the assistant company manager for the production. In addition to this work, Moore is the co-choreographer for The Kids and Junior Lion King Experience and has produced benefits for Broadway Cares.
