Lisa Attles is a native of Newark, NJ and trained at the Newark School of the Arts and Garden State Ballet. She is a former member of Gallman’s Newark Dance Theatre, a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, an Arts Recognition and Talent Search finalist, and a recipient of a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School. Ms. Attles, a former soloist with the Dance Theatre of Harlem, toured with the company extensively and was a member for thirteen years. Her television credits include Sesame Street, Giselle, and 60 Minutes. Her featured roles include those in Medea, John Henry, and Adagietto #5. Ms. Attles is a ballet instructor at The Ailey School and a certified teacher in Primary-Level 3 Ballet of the ABT National Training Curriculum.
