Harry Young
American Negro Ballet
Harry Young was a member of Eugene Von Grona’s American Negro Ballet. He appeared in the company’s premiere in 1937 as well as their 1939 performance, which was accompanied by the New York Negro Symphony Orchestra. His fellow company members included Lavinia Williams, Alfred Bledger, and Edith Ross.
