Lucinda Ransome

Lucinda Ransome was a member of the Capitol Ballet and performed with the company at the Cramton Auditorium at Howard University on May 29, 1964. Along with performances from guest artists like Arthur Mitchell, the company performed three pieces by Doris Jones: Color, Bach for Six, and Flair for Movement. It is not known if Ransome performed with the company in other productions. 

In the 1970s, Ransome appeared with the Clark Center for the Performing Arts, an arts organization founded by Alvin Ailey and led by Louise Roberts. 

Ransome was also a teacher of dance in New York City during the 1970s and ‘80s.
