Wesley Branch is a native of Leytonstone, East London, England and started dancing at the age of nine at the youth organization Kreative Culture Klub.

He then trained at The Place’s Centre for Advanced Training, The Royal Ballet School’s Junior Associate Program, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, The School at Jacob’s Pillow (with a scholarship), and the English National Ballet School. While at the Royal Ballet School, Branch appeared in Cinderella with the main company and while at ENB, he performed in My First Ballet: Swan Lake. He graduated from the school in 2019 and joined Northern Ballet the same year.
