Chicago-native Kyle Davis received his training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. In 2015, Davis joined Ballet West II, where he performed in August Bournonville’s Bournonville Divertissements, Peggy Dolkas’ Are We There Yet?, Tomm Ruud’s Mobile, Pamela Robinson-Harris and Peggy Dolkas’ The Little Mermaid (as a Dolphin, Sea Toad, Wave, and Wedding Guest). After his two years with the second company, he graduated to Ballet West, where he danced in Willam F. Christensen’s The Nutcracker (as the Nutcracker Prince, Russian Dancer) and Frederick Ashton’s Cinderella as well as pieces by George Balanchine, Merce Cunningham, Sir David Bintley, Edwaard Liang and Africa Guzman.

Davis was nominated for a 2019 Princess Grace Award and in a review that same year,  it was said Davis brought a “grounded and calm energy” in the role of the Nutcracker Prince.
